Week 6 - Little to say

A photo of Marian modelling the shibori scarf she’s wearing

This has been a very light touch week, as the day job has materially interfered with my ability to do Phd stuff. More exciting updates next week I hope. I did begin reading the fascinating Extra/ordinary: contemporary art and craft edited by Maria Elena Buszek that goes into great detail about craft theory and the distinction sin the Western artistic world about the nuances of what makes up art vs craft vs Studio Craft vs fine art etc etc. I’ve only just begun to hopefully more to come.

I did also have a delightful meeting with my supervisory committee that told me I was on track. More to come next week!
